COMING FALL 2026
Two People. One loose plan.
An entire continent waiting.
In MAP of US, Cory Mortensen and his wife Kate set out with backpacks, curiosity, and a willingness to follow whatever road appears next.
What begins as a trip soon becomes a two–year wandering across Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and Colombia—through cloud forests, high Andean passes, coastal deserts, and cities where every street corner seems to tell a story.
They volunteer where they can, travel slowly, and discover that the most meaningful journeys rarely follow a straight line. Along the way there are sea turtles in Uruguay, long bus rides across Patagonia, strangers who become friends, and the quiet realization that the map you carry at the beginning of a journey is never the one you finish with.
Part adventure and part reflection, MAP of US is a story about travel, partnership, and the unexpected ways the world reshapes the people willing to explore it.
Sometimes the best journeys begin with an empty map.
